About Rita

Rita Thompson is a writer located in Philadelphia, PA. Graduating from Temple University in 2021, Rita has a degree in Communications & Contemporary Media Environments from the Klein School of Media and Communications, and a minor in Journalism Studies.

 

Rita has been a staff writer for the cannabis marketing agency, CannaContent Since October 2021, where she curates blog and copywriting for cannabis companies including The Travel Agency, Queen City Cannabis, CWCBExpo, and more.

Previously, Rita has worked as a writer for Billboard Magazine, and the cannabis lifestyle media group, Emerald Magazine. She also spent time as a blog writer and digital marketing associate for the online mediation and mindfulness school, The Joy Within, and 3 months in London, UK working as Temple University's Klein GO multimedia blogger.
