rita thompson is a brooklyn-based writer, marketer, photographer and event planner.

before moving to new york, rita spent years documenting philly’s creative community -- covering local music, art, and the people shaping the city’s nightlife. she is also the co-founder of Patchwork, an events platform rooted in creativity and community.

 

most of all, rita is a lover of music, pets, and the powerpuff girls.
